Abstract: This report presents the Design for Environment, Safety, and Health (DFESH)
implementation strategy for the semiconductor industry. It describes how the
strategy was developed and the proposed phases of company-specific
implementation--initialization, initiation, pilot testing, implementation,
and continuous improvement--along with the awareness training, design tools,
and metrics appropriate to each phase. Appendices include examples of DFESH-
related training programs and implementation tools as well as a description
of the alignment of the DFESH strategy to The National Technology Roadmap for
Semiconductors.
