Abstract:  This report from the MFGM031M project provides an introduction to
Network Time Protocol (NTP) as well as recommendations for
architecting an NTP infrastructure to meet the timing demands of
next-generation semiconductor manufacturing applications. It is
intended to help factory network administrators and equipment
engineers understand the key factors in designing an NTP network
or equipment clock module.
