Abstract:  This document describes the correct use of methods to assess
manual material-handling (MMH) tasks to determine their
compliance with SEMI S8, Safety Guidelines for Ergonomics
Engineering of Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment. The three
commonly accepted methods addressed are the 1991 NIOSH equation,
3D biomechanical analysis, and psychophysical assessment.
