All candidates interested in applying for the ACC NanoScholar Internship Program should thoroughly review the NanoScholar Program Information and Requirements prior to applying for the program.

Current transcript(s) – Official transcripts must be mailed by the applicant’s college directly to the program coordinator. Please make transcript requests early as they can take 2-3 weeks to arrive. Transcripts must be received by the same deadlines indicated for your application in order to be considered.

Personal Statement - Your personal statement is critical to the selection process. It is through your words that we can determine your best 'fit' within the ACC NanoScholar Internship Program. Please submit a well-written, typed single-page essay, in which you discuss the relationship between your present studies and your career goals. As preparation, you may wish to discuss your career interests with one or more professors, and include any insights you gain from these discussions, and any other sources, which explain how this program might help you prepare for your future. Note any honors and awards that you have received that are relevant. If you do not believe your grades reflect your potential, please explain them in this essay.

Letter of Recommendation - A letter from a member of your college faculty who knows you well and can comment with authority on your potential as a participant in this program. If you can identify a person better qualified to evaluate your abilities, i.e., a co-op adviser or industry mentor, please feel free to have that person write your recommendation. Include the name, title and contact information including telephone number of the person recommending you.

Supplemental Documentation for International Students (for Non U.S. Citizens only) - Foreign students are required to present proof of elegibility to work in the United States.
Program Sessions
Completed applications and all accompanying required documents must be received during the application acceptance dates shown below to be considered for the indicated session. If all available intern positions are filled, any additional qualified candidates will be considered for the next available session, however those candidates will be asked to resubmit a current official transcript.
